Why a website ?
Simply to centralize my online identity. It's also kinda fun to keep track of my online (and offline) activities using a single tool (this website). It's also a great reference for would-be biographers.
Why Pomme Pause ?
First, because I'm a Mac guy. Not for that long yet, but still. And on Mac's keyboards, there is a key called the Apple-Key. Pomme means Apple in french by the way.
Second, because even before I had Macs at home, I always called the 'Windows-key' the 'Apple-key'. Telling someone to hit 'Pomme-Pause' was the lazy equivalent to say hit 'Windows-key-and-Pause'. Pomme being a single syllable word, it was much faster than referring to the Windows key by its name. Pomme-Pause stuck because it was the shortcut to go in Windows' System panel, and being a geek, this was a fun panel to play with.
What's in here ?
Basically, anything I'll come up with that might be slightly useful to anyone Google-ing my name. My CV, my current status, links to website I work/ed on, etc. It might not be updated that often, but then, not many personal websites are. Maybe I'll do a blog or something similar, if I ever have/take the time needed for such!
