I started it in iCal.app (on my Mac) and I was publishing it using WebDAV on my web server, but I now imported it in Google Calendar, where I maintain and share it.

Here’s the link to get it in iCal format
or add it directly to your

    Thanks for the Canadian ICal.

I was looking for such a thing for a while, and just found it. I am using it with EssentialPIM ( http://www.essentialpim.com/ ) and it works like a charm.

Manitoba just created a new holiday in February called Louis Riel Day.

"On 26 September 2007, Manitoba legislature passed a bill establishing a statutory holiday on the third Monday in February as Louis Riel Day, the same day some other provinces celibrate Family Day, beginning in 2008.[78] The first Louis Riel Day is to be celebrated on 18 February 2008. This new statutory holiday coincides with the celebration, on February 15-24, of the Festival Du Voyageur."

Great work. Maybe in the descriptions you could have a link to your source info – like the various pages on Wikipedia?

Easter Sunday and Monday seem to be doubled up on April 12 and 13 of 2009.

  13. Easter duplicates should be fixed now.

I had Wikipedia URLs in the events before, but I guess they got lost somewhere when I migrated from iCal to Google Calendar.
I'll try to re-add them when I have a minute.

Saskatchewan also celebrates a statutory holiday in February, Family Day, passed into law in 2007. Third Monday in February.

    • 3rd Monday of Feb is now: "Family Day (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario), Louis Riel Day (Manitoba)"; also added a link to wikipedia where I took the information from.
      Thanks for the pointer.

  22. Tony says:

I realize that these aren't really Canadian holidays, but they are observed by many Canadians, so it may be worth considering…

    Groundhog Day (Feb 2)
    April Fool's Day (April 1)
    Earth Day (April 22)

As mentioned by the others, thank you so much for your time spent. It is not going unnoticed!!!!
